Bread Making Party Family Ministries will be hosting a Bread Making Party on September 30th at 6 pm in the FLC. We will be making breads from around the world as we learn more about the sacrament of communion and celebrate the many nations and cultures that make up the body of Christ.
Rooted Youth Retreat Join Pastor Britt at Camp Glisson this November for a time of fun, fellowship, and growing deeper in our relationships with God and each other! Sign-up is available on our website as well as in our weekly eBlast.
Blessing of the Animals You and your pets are invited to join us for Blessing of the Animals on October 4th at 5 pm in the FLC parking lot. We are partnering with the Paulding County Animal Shelter for our offering. Please see the included insert for the wish list for the animal shelter.
Charge Conference Our Charge Conference will be October 18th at 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome to attend and hear about the church’s work in 2026 and what is to come in 2027. All members are encouraged to participate in the meeting, while voting rights are reserved for members of the Leadership Team and active and retired clergy.
Lunch Bunch Join us at Jim ‘N Nick’s on Hwy 278 on October 22nd at 11:30 am. If you’d like to ride together, the church van will leave from the church office parking lot at 11:10 am. Please RSVP to Ken or Debbie at kdray72@yahoo.com or call Ken at 678-876-8624 to let them know if you’re coming and if you will need a ride.
Take a Bible. Grow in Faith. We believe everyone should have a Bible of their own. If you do not have one, please take a pew Bible or choose one from the rolling cart in the FLC as our gift to you. Help Us Bring Others to Worship! We are exploring a Church Van Ministry to provide transportation for those who cannot get to worship on their own. Depending on volunteer interest, we may begin by offering rides periodically. If you would be willing to drive or support this ministry, please contact Pastor Ben at ben@dallasfirstumc.org.
