Adult Bible Study Join Mrs. Tina Rakestraw for In Heaven and Earth: Advent and the Incarnation, on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. We will be introduced to the God who brings heaven to earth and changes everything. In Advent, we celebrate and anticipate the good news that God is coming to us.
Community Thanksgiving Meal Preparation will begin on Tuesday, November 25th, at 6:30 pm in the FLC. We will need volunteers for food prep, table set-up, and dishwashing. On Wednesday, November 26th, we need volunteers beginning at 2:45 pm as follows: servers, table duty, and dishwashers. Take-down and clean-up will begin around 5:15 pm. Two-person delivery teams are also needed beginning at 2:45 pm. (At least one person must be 18 years old) Serving and delivering will begin at 3 pm. Please contact Jess Holt at meals@dallasfirstumc.org to volunteer and let her know when you can be there. Please include all names of volunteers, phone numbers, and preferred assignments.

Angel Tree Our Angel Trees are now set up in both the Sanctuary and the Family Life Center! Each ornament represents a gift for a child at Murphy-Harpst Children’s Home. If you choose an ornament, please return it with the unwrapped gift by December 7th. Thank you for your generosity and for helping bring joy to these deserving young people this Christmas season.
Christmas Poinsettias Poinsettias are available for purchase in honor of/in memory of a loved one. These will be placed at the altar for Christmas services. The cost will be $10. All orders must be in by December 7th. Please mark you check/online payment as “Poinsettias” and let us know who you would like to honor. If you have any questions, please see Nelda Hadaway.

WOW Dinner Join us on November 19th, at 5:30 pm for WOW Dinner! We will be serving Vegetable Beef Soup & Grilled Cheese. This week’s serving team will be Team 4: Randle/Benson.
Common Grounds “Faith, Fellowship, and Finding Your People” – Join us Sundays at 10 am for a time of conversation and connecting with others. We will meet in the CLC Lobby. Feel free to drop in!
