Special Conference Offering Today we are having a special conference offering for Wellroot. Your donation will enable them to keep families together, support foster families, and guide young adults on their journey to independence.
Children’s Ministry All children will remain in service today and then combine in the youth room for Sunday School. Nursery is available.
Ladies’ Picnic All ladies are invited to attend the annual picnic on Thursday, September 25th, in Vinson Hall starting at 5 pm. Please RSVP by September 17th at 10:00 a.m. with Susan Culpepper at 770-363-3367 or Anita Bailey at 678-491-7508. We will have a choice of sandwich, side, dessert, and a drink. We hope to see you there!
Children & Youth Choir Rehearsals for the Children’s and Youth Choir will be on Sunday, September 28th, at 9:45 am and 12 pm. (You do not need to attend both.) Youth Choir will meet on Wednesdays from 7:15-8 pm starting on October 1st. All children and youth are welcome, no experience needed!
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Our Scout Troop 735 is proud to prepare a spaghetti dinner from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1st. Cost will be $8 for an adult plate, $5 for a kids plate (under 3 are free).
Chili Lunch and Dessert Auction Join us on October 5th, at 12 pm in the FLC for a chili lunch and baked goods auction. The cost will be $10 per person, or $25 for a family of three or more. Please see any of our youth for tickets!
Blue Jean Sunday Volunteers needed to do repairs/cleaning on campus. We will meet on October 5th at 12:30 pm. If you can help, please email Scott Proctor at cprocto11@gmail.com.
New Adult Bible Study Join Mr. Paul Wagner starting on October 8th, at 6:30 pm in the Barton Room for our Bible Study “Unafraid”. Learn how to face and overcome the fears we feel about loneliness, illness, financial insecurity, disappointing others, failure, insignificance, and aging
Outreach Volunteer Day We are looking for adult and youth volunteers to come with us to Murphy-Harpst on October 11th, from 8 am-2 pm. We will be making dinner for 120 people and fixing a drain issue. If you can help, please call or text Barry Goughler at 770-843-1983.
