Christmas Poinsettias Poinsettias are available for purchase in honor of/in memory of a loved one. These will be placed at the altar for Christmas services. The cost will be $10. All orders must be in today to be included. Please mark your check/online payment as “Poinsettias” and let us know who you would like to honor. If you have any questions, please see Nelda Hadaway.
Guys’ Night Join us in the FLC on December 9th, at 6:15 pm for a Chili Dinner and Cornhole.
Youth Christmas Party Join us on December 10th, at 6 pm, for our Christmas party. Bring your favorite snack in a gift bag for a white elephant exchange!
Christmas Cantata Join us on December 14th, at 5:00 pm, for a beautiful night of music as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Dinner will be provided by our Nurture Committee after the Cantata.
Christmas Eve Services Join us for one of our Christmas Eve Services on December 24th! We are having a Family Candlelight Service at 5:00 pm and a Candlelight Service at 7:00 pm.
Staff Christmas The DFUMC Leadership Board would like to invite the congregation to give a love offering to provide a Christmas gift for our incredible staff. Our church staff members have done such an amazing job this year! In 2025, we have seen an increase in membership as well as an increase in youth, children, and music ministry participation throughout the year. Please be sure to note “Staff Gift” on your check, envelope, or online gift. To ensure gifts are received by Christmas, we kindly ask that all donations be submitted by December 14th. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Ongoing News, Events & Opportunities to Serve
Adult Bible Study Join Mrs. Tina Rakestraw for In Heaven and Earth: Advent and the Incarnation, on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. We will be introduced to the God who brings heaven to earth and changes everything. In Advent, we celebrate and anticipate the good news that God is coming to us.
WOW Dinner Join us on December 10th, at 5:30 pm for WOW Dinner! We will be serving Pizza & Salad. This week’s serving team will be Team 1: Starr/Woods.
Common Grounds “Faith, Fellowship, and Finding Your People” – Join us Sundays at 10 am for a time of conversation and connecting with others. We will meet in the CLC Lobby. Feel free to drop in!
