22nd Annual Paulding County Thanksgiving Meal We will need volunteers for preparations on November 24th at 6:30 pm and November 25th beginning at 2:45 pm. We will need servers, dishwashers, table setup, and delivery teams. Please contact Jess Holt at meals@dallasfirstumc.org to volunteer or if you have any questions. Please help us bless our neighbors this Thanksgiving!
Breakfast with Santa Join us on December 5th from 8:00-10:00 am in the FLC for a visit with Santa and special guests! There will be pancakes, crafts, and games. This is a free Community Event hosted by our CLC, we hope to see you there!
Staff Appreciation The DFUMC Leadership Board invites the congregation to participate in a Christmas Love Offering for our incredible staff! Our church staff members have worked faithfully throughout the year, and we are grateful for their dedication. In 2026, we’ve been blessed to see growth in our membership as well as increased participation in our youth, children, and music ministries. If you would like to contribute, please designate “Staff Gift” on your check, envelope, or online donation. To ensure gifts are distributed before Christmas, we kindly ask that all contributions be submitted by Sunday, December 6th. Thank you for your continued generosity and support!
Help Us Bring Others To Church We are exploring a Church Van Ministry to provide transportation for those who cannot get to worship on their own. Depending on volunteer interest, we may begin by offering rides occasionally rather than every Sunday. If you would be willing to drive or support this ministry, please contact Pastor Ben at ben@dallasfirstumc.org.
